Respected recipients,

We request your representation at our house rewarming party on June 2. To recap, we've removed to a new residence and rebranded the House Around Lisa, (Neil)Fred, Louise, and Brandon as Halflab 2.0. You may recall that we held a reception at new year's, but we were still reacclimating and rearranging furniture, so we resolved to repeat the reunion. Now that we've recovered from relocating and have reestablished ourselves, we're ready for a rewarming. So remark your calendars, reschedule any conflicts, and reserve the date to rejoin us for some renewed revelry.

Remember that the reason to reconnect is the recurrence of Halflab's birthday, which we recognize at the return of every spring. Our resettling has not reset the reckoning (this represents seventeen years), but we can also regard it as a rebirth. Just revealing this for the record in the hope it results in rejoicing!

Refreshments are a requisite part of any refined gathering, and we regularly require reinforcements in this respect. We'll reiterate that our potluck is reduced-stress(*). If you have recently been remiss, redeem yourself by replenishing the repast. We recommend rereading recipes, reheating leftovers, or researching your refrigerator. Or redouble your efforts and reimagine refried beans, reposado tequila, or a remoulade sauce. But realize these restrictions needn't reflect reality. Just remain relaxed – we'll receive you regardless.

Once reliably restored, you can relish our games and recreations. Rock Band is sure to reverberate (though regrettably we can't revive Dance Dance Revolution). Recount stories, trade recollections and witty rejoinders, or even resort to reciting poetry while recumbent on our recliners.

We really can't restrain ourselves from repeating that we hope you'll revisit our refuge on June 2. Or if you haven't yet retreated to Halflab 2.0, we'll be relieved to have that rectified!
