New Year, NEW LOCATION for Halflab!

New location? New location! There's no wacky invitation theme -- we're too busy moving into the new House Around Lisa, (Neil)Fred, Louise, and Brandon. Later this month, the four of us will relocate to HALFLAB 2.0, on the other side of Santa Clara. We hope you can join us on New Year's Eve to celebrate the new year in our new home!

Our move-in date falls a lot closer to December 31 than would have been ideal, so we hope you'll overlook the new house being somewhat in disarray. We won't ask you to unpack any boxes, but if the conversation, games, and merriment don't entertain you sufficiently, we'll be happy to put you to work.

We're going to start this party earlier than our usual NYE celebrations, at 4:00pm, so you're welcome to drop by for a look at the new house even if you have other plans for the evening.

This time, the Low-Stress Potluck(*) is particularly meant to lower our stress, so please provide any serving dishes or utensils your contribution requires, because we don't know how much array our new kitchen will be in by then. If you're planning to arrive early and stay late, think about bringing some food to sustain you (and others) through the party.

We hope to see you at our new house on December 31, or sometime soon!
