Okay. It's May. You're waiting for an invitation.
Yearning to learn if Halflab's throwing a birthday celebration.
Don't fear, it's here, this is the declaration:
May twenty-one's the day – plenty fun within our habitation!
This season, we've occupied our house for fifteen years.
That's the reason we're calling you all over to lift some beers.
With snacks and treats, you'll hang out with your peers,
Relax and eat, while you chill out and shift gears.
It's a party, and we're urging you to feel no tension.
We heartily encourage no burdens, so we will mention:
Keep Low Stress for the Potluck(*) – no wish for apprehension.
But to impress would not suck, with dishes of your own invention.
Things get underway at four o'clock and run until late
So you can play more Rock Band, or fill another plate.
At Dominion, you can win big and claim to dominate,
But if you miss the shindig, the games will have to wait.
No crime to show at Halflab sans a yay or nay ahead
Of time, you know – but hella fab as well to répondez instead.
