Halflab Trochee-Laden New Year's Party

Evil pirates! Robot monkeys! Killer zombies! Bacon ninjas! Halflab party!

Many awesome concepts out there come with trochee labels — where the former syllable is stressed and second half is less so. That's why Halflab is the hopping venue for a New Year's party.

Halflab plans to host a standard Low-Stress Potluck(*) — therefore ponder what to offer for some morsels on the table. Many trochee munchies thus will make a proper tribute. Brainstorm fodder: cookies, candy, chicken nuggets, bacon, cheddar, hummus, crackers. Also, trochee liquids such as: OJ, root beer, diet cola, Dr Pepper, cider, bourbon, Captain Morgan, vodka, whiskey. Or in fact another soda, or a fancy cocktail. Contributions not possessing trochee scansion are still welcome.

Once your appetite is sated, play a board game, or some Rock Band. Or just hang out with your buddies — conversation's always pleasant when you're talking trochee. If your rhythm still is lacking, read the invite till you've got it. It's our favorite type of meter. Once you start, it's hard to stop it!
