Halflab NYE Party

At last, here's the news you've expected: HALFLAB (the House Around Lisa, Fred, Louise, And Brandon) is once again hosting an NYE party. "Nifty! Yippee! Excellent!" naturally y'all exclaim for what promises to be not your everyday affair. On Saturday, December 31, in case that's not yet evident, please join us to celebrate Noel, Yuletide, Epiphany, or New Year's Eve. The event will be similar to the New York extravaganza -- but three hours later, and without the nonstop yelling everywhere. Admittedly, there's sure to be more nerdy yakking, enjoyed by both Yahoo! and non-Yahoo! employees, and neo-yesteryear entertainment such as musical video games, board games, needlework, yarncrafts, embroidery, and foosball. And the hot tub will be available for those willing to take a nippy yard excursion.

We'll all want to nosh yummy edibles, so come with food, or don't, according to the Low-Stress Potluck rules(*). Everyone will be happy to nibble your epicurean delights, whether nachos y enchiladas or some other non-Yucatan eats. We will provide both booze and nonalcoholic, yet exciting, drinks, but feel free to bring your favorite beverage as well (nothing yucky, except perhaps eggnog).

The party will start at 7:00, and it's possible that by morning it will have not yet ended. If the night yields excess, and you near your exhaustion point before leaving, you are welcome to spend the night. You, everyone you live with, and other notables you entice are all invited to the party. Bring your family and friends, not your enemies. We don't need your enrollment, but you may send no/yes expectations to rsvp (at) halflab (dot) com. Note your excuses if it's necessary you're elsewhere.

We hope that you will be at Halflab as 2006 begins for nostalgia, yawning, eating, and numbering your escapades of the previous 365 days.
