HALFLAB New Year's Eve 2002 It's almost 2002. How exciting! This new year is more exciting than most, because it'll be the first palindromic year in eleven years, and the last one for another hundred and ten! And even more exciting than that is the fact that HALFLAB (the House Around Lisa, Fred, Louise, And Brandon) is having a party! For those of you who have not yet made it to one, you should know that Halflab parties are always exciting. But wait -- it gets even more exciting, because this particular Halflab party will be the first one to include a hot tub! The excitement just never stops! So come on over to Halflab on New Year's Eve, and soak in the palindromic excitement. We'll do our usual no-stress potluck thing for dinner and other edibles. The excitement begins at 7:00pm; feel free to show up any time after that -- before or after dinner, before or after midnight, whatever. We also have plenty of crash space available, and the excitement may well continue into a New Year's Day no-stress potluck brunch. (For those who've forgotten or never knew, No-Stress Potlucks are described at http://www.halflab.com/party/ ...) If you're planning to go in the tub, bring a towel. If you're planning to spend the night, bring some bedding. If you're planning to stand on your head, bring a pocket watch. Other bringables are also encouraged, such as games, toys, juggling props, friends, significant others, kids, pets, and any other exciting items and/or people. So, to summarize:

Reminder: Halflab 2002 Palindromic Hot Tub Excitement Just a little reminder that HALFLAB is having a party on New Year's Eve... And without imposing any stress surrounding the matter, I'd like to also remind those of you who are planning to come that although it is by no means required -- or even strongly suggested -- that you bring comestibles, it is encouraged. Normally if there's any shortage of food or munchies we can always run out and get some, but on New Year's that might not be as easy. Or perhaps it will be just as easy as any other time, I don't know. Anyway, again, don't stress over it, but do bring games, toys, juggling props, friends, significant others, kids, pets, and any other exciting items and/or people. And remember towels for hot tubbing, bedding for, well, beds, and of course pocket watches for knowing when it's midnight. Quick reference:
